25-Minute Full Body Burn with Brie Ashley (Barre-Inspired Workout)

The Workout

Today we're going to tone our muscles with the founder of BrieAshley Well & Fit, Brie Garber. This exclusive workout is effective at targeting muscles that may otherwise go unscathed and is the perfect routine for achieving a toned, long lean look.

Muscles Targeted

  • Total body: You'll start with lower body exercises, move into core exercises, then upper body (with some core) and finish up with low impact cardio.

What You'll Need

  • One dumbbell; 3-8 pounds
  • An exercise mat (optional)

This total body workout is easy to do in your living room, all you’re going to need is a one dumbbell. If you don't have a dumbbell, no problem! You can get creative with some everyday household items (a jug of water or a bag of flour will work) or you can easily incorporate almost every move in this workout without it.

If using dumbbells, it's especially important to use weights that allow you to push yourself, without sacrificing form. In today's video, Brie is using an 8-pound dumbbell. Keep in mind that this is only for reference and is not a suggestion as to what you should be lifting. Choose a weight that is appropriate for you and your strength.

How to Use This Routine

This workout routine allows you to burn calories while targeting multiple muscle groups, without any jarring impact on your joints. There is no cool-down within this particular video, so you will need to either do it independently or choose one of our cool-downs from the exercise library.
