This take on turkey tacos has a tomato base and is slightly less traditional than beef tacos. It’s easy to throw together and can be eaten in a taco shell, or for a low-carb option, as a taco salad with some fresh greens!

This meal pairs well with FfL Rice Cake Nachos and FfL’s Simply Seasoned Black Beans.

Instructions
  1. Heat evoo in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add onion and cook until onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add turkey and cook until no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes. Break meat up with the side of spatula while cooking.
  4. Stir in all other turkey mixture ingredients except broth. Cook 2 minutes.
  5. Add broth to mixture, stir occasionally and simmer until liquid becomes thick and clings to meat.
  6. Divide meat mixture and serve immediately with a salad or taco shells and toppings.
  7. Enjoy!
