Below Are Our Guest Posting Guidelines

For General Blog Posts

  1. We will automatically introduce you and link your social accounts and/or personal blog.
    • Here is an example of how we may introduce you: The following is a guest post by Demmi Miller, MS, RD, a dietitian who blogs at Real Life, Real Food. She also writes weekly for the Parents’ magazine blog, The Scoop on Food. She lives with her husband, two girls, and one dog in Michigan.
  2. We accept links but do not accept affiliate links.
  3. We only accept genuine and hand-typed content. Any kind of copied content will not be published.
  4. All submissions must be original content that you own the rights to and that hasn’t been previously published.
  5. The content submitted will now be owned by FULLforLife, LLC. We will link the guest author’s site, give them credit for writing the post and let them showcase their masterpiece. This decreases the likelihood that the contributor will spin it or, if a journalist wants to cover or republish the piece, this allows FULLforLife to give them authorization without having to reach out to the author. This happens more often than you may think and can direct a ton of traffic to the contributor’s site! The content must be detailed and unique.
  6. Please fact-check your story and provide sources for all your info.
  7. The content must follow EBA’s elements of FOCUS:
    • The title has to grab the reader’s attention and let them know without a doubt what
    • benefit they will get from reading it.
    • The opening must be engaging and draw the reader into the post.
    • The post should have only one central idea (one thing the reader will come away remembering).
    • The central idea should help the reader learn something OR attempt to convince them to believe something.
    • The central idea needs to solve a problem that Jenny, our avatar, is struggling with or facing. Keep Jenny interested.
    • Bring your central idea to life with bullet points, tips or sub-points that bring your topic alive and drive the point home.
    • End the post strong, with purpose and clarity. Let the reader know at the beginning what problem you’re going to solve and then again at the end how you solved it.
  8. Only guest posts related to our website niche are acceptable.
  9. The minimum word limit for guest posting is 500 words, with a typical 700-1,700 word range.
  10. Please join our website subscription for better SEO and faster approval.
  11. Submitted posts should be edited and typo-free. If your content requires major editing we will pass, so take your time and only send your best work.
  12. Submitted photos must be bright and of good quality.
  13. We ask that you submit a full draft for our editors to review.
  14. Submission of a post does not guarantee it will be published on FULLforLife. Our team will reach out if we’d like to feature your post.
  15. We reserve the right to modify your content as necessary to fit our target demographics and following.

    • Here are examples of how you can introduce yourself: “Hey, it’s Demmi Miller from the online fitness studio Well and Fit. Today’s FULLforLife workout is a full body workout to tone every muscle. You’ll need a couple sets of weights for a lunge series we’re going to do and a bender ball, so make sure you have your equipment handy. Let’s get ready to work!” “Hey ladies, I’m Tina Long, the founder of Fit and Fab. Today’s FULLforLife workout is a mix of strength training and barre. Over the next 15 minutes you’re going to sculpt, sweat and stretch, no equipment needed.”
  6. The video must include a brief warm up and encouraging participants to cool down at the end of the video.
  7. Consider using a lapel mic. Clear audio makes a difference for the viewer.
  8. Turn off all extraneous noises, especially if you’re not using a microphone. Even the back up drive running from your computer can be heard in the background of a video and can be distracting.
  9. Make sure you’re excited, energetic and speak in a clear and concise manner as you walk the audience through each move.
  10. Submitted videos should be edited and typo-free. If your content requires major editing we will pass, so take your time and only send your best work.
  11. Submitted videos must be bright and of good quality (lighting, sound and high resolution pixels).
  12. All submissions must use original music (NOT copywrited music) that you own the rights to or is royalty free and permitted for commercial use. If you choose not to add music, FULLforLife may do so.
  13. We ask that you submit a full-length video for our team to review. Videos should range between 10-45 minutes in length.
  14. Submission of a video does not guarantee it will be featured on FULLforLife. Our team will reach out if we’d like to feature your workout.
  15. If featured on the blog, we will automatically introduce you and link your social accounts and/or personal blog.
    • Here are examples of how we may introduce you: The following is a guest workout by Demmi Miller, a personal trainer who owns the online fitness studio Well and Fit.
  16. We reserve the right to modify your content as necessary to fit our target demographics and following.
  17. If chosen, the content submitted will now be owned by FULLforLife, LLC. We will link the guest author’s personal blog and give them credit for the video creation. This decreases the likelihood that the contributor will spin it or, if a journalist wants to cover or republish the piece, this allows FULLforLife to give them authorization without having to reach out to the author. This happens more often then you may think and can direct a ton of traffic to the contributor’s site!

We ask that writers don’t republish original content they write for FULLforLife anywhere once it has been published on FULLforLife. However, you are welcome to promote links to your content on FULLforLife.com on your social accounts and/or personal blog.

Please submit all content to fullforlifegal@gmail.com along with a signed copy of this document. We look forward to reviewing your submissions and (hopefully) working together!
