Description

Introducing our guilt-free Espresso Martini! Enjoy the blend of bold espresso, smooth vodka, and a touch of honey sweetness—all in one delightful sip.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 1 ounce freshly brewed espresso (or cold brew concentrate)
  • 1/2 ounce honey simple syrup (see recipe below)

Garnish:

Instructions

  1. Brew the coffee and let it cool completely.
  2. Make the honey simple syrup: Combine 1/4 cup warm water and 1/4 cup honey in a clean squeeze bottle. Cover the opening with your finger and shake vigorously until well combined. If the honey is very thick, warm it gently with the water in a small pot over low heat, stirring until fully dissolved. Cool and transfer to a squeeze bottle.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  4. Add the cooled coffee, coffee liqueur, vodka, and 1/2 ounce honey simple syrup.
  5. Shake the cocktail vigorously to create a frothy foam.
  6. Strain the mixture quickly into a martini glass. Garnish with coffee beans and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Due to honey’s natural antibacterial properties, the simple syrup can be stored indefinitely at room temperature or in the fridge. If using raw honey, avoid heating the water above 110°F to preserve its beneficial bacteria.
  • Ensure the coffee is completely cooled before mixing to maintain a chilled cocktail. For quick cooling, briefly place the brewed coffee in the freezer.
  • Shake the cocktail vigorously to achieve a thick foam layer when pouring into the glass.
