Prep Ahead

We’re always looking for ways to reduce time in the kitchen and simplify healthy eating, especially during busy mornings throughout the week.

These make-ahead smoothie packs are an easy, convenient way to prepare smoothies (and frosties) ahead of time. You’ll save time and take the guesswork out of what to put into the blender during hectic mornings throughout the week.

Helpful Tips When Making this Frosty

  • Cut and freeze your banana in thirds so your blender doesn’t have to work quite as hard to reach that smooth consistency of a traditional frosty.
  • This recipe makes a frosty with that classic, slightly melted consistency (a bit thinner than a milkshake). If you prefer a thicker frosty, use slightly less milk. You may have to stop a few times to scoop the mixture off the bottom and sides of the blender to blend evenly.
  • A high-powered blender is a MUST. For any smoothie, frosty, milkshake or blended drink, a regular blender doesn’t match the smooth, creamy consistency of a high-powered one. Our personal favorite is the Ninja High-Speed Blender. We’ve been using this blender for years and have had fantastic results!
