- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 1 1x
Description
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled (you can make this the night before and refrigerate)
- 1 large banana, frozen (cut ripe banana into thirds and freeze overnight)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1/4 cup milk or almond milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cacao powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 oz. coffee liqueur (such as Kahlua)
- 1 oz. Myers’s Rum
Instructions
- In a high-powered blender, combine ingredients; blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Notes
Depending on the type of rum and coffee liqueur you use, they may be made with ingredients that aren’t FfL-friendly. Choose the best version possible. Kahlua is our liqueur of choice and we like to make our own using FfL ingredients.
Our personal favorite high-powered multi-use blender is Nutribullet because we can drink out of the cup we blend in.
We recommend organic ingredients when feasible.
