Family-friendly
Feel free to play around with the measurements. This recipe is on the moderate side of spicy. If you have small kids, cut the hot sauce in half or eliminate it completely. If your family loves heat, double it. Just taste test and adjust it to your family’s flavor preferences.
Why you (and your family) will LOVE this recipe:
- It’s so EASY.
- It’s versatile.
- It’s sweet, yet spicy.
- It can be customized to your flavor preferences… want more heat? Have at it!
- The store-bought versions often use soybean oil (or some sort of highly processed vegetable oil), sugar and preservatives. Basically, they’re not all that good for you.
- It’s hand down much tastier than store-bought.
