- Preheat cast iron pan, nonstick pan or grill to medium-high heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Divide beef into four to six patties and pat each patty out, about 1/2-inch thick.
- Grill patties, approximately 5 minutes each side, until cooked to desired temperature (we recommend medium to medium-well). Top each burger with cheese of choice and cover, allowing cheese to melt completely, about a minute. Remove burgers from heat, plate on buns or a bed of greens. Top with desired toppings and enjoy.
Notes
If your picky eater tends to investigate their meals, you can puree mushrooms in a blender with BBQ and Worcestershire sauce. Mix with salt, pepper and beef as directed.
