Why blend rather than muddle?
Normally when making a mojito, you muddle the mint and lime in a cocktail shaker. You can absolutely do this, but we’ve had the most success with making a fresh puree in the blender. The consistency seems to turn out better and the flavor exceeds what any muddler can do.

- In a high-speed blender, pulse the frozen mango, 10 mint leaves, rum and lime juice until pureed.
- Add club soda to puree mixture and stir.
- Pour mojito mixture into two glasses over ice. For a huge burst in flavor, rub the rim of your glasses with a slice of lime and a mint leaf prior to serving. Top the drink with a fresh sprig of mint and a slice of fresh mango to finish the drink off perfectly.
